Explore an important field-scale wetter farming trial growing Typha near Manchester.
The session will be led by Mike Longdon, Peatland Programme Technical Lead for the Lancashire Wildlife Trust and Liverpool John Moores University. Following a tour of the trial site, we will consider the business case for paludiculture, the work of the trial and discuss the production of other crops through wetter farming systems.
Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided. Places are limited.
