Thirst: In Search of Freshwater

The Wellcome Trust have a free exhibition 'THIRST - In Search of Fresh Water' that explores humanity’s vital connection with freshwater as an essential source of life and pillar of good health. It brings together over 125 historical artefacts, contemporary materials, artworks and research that invites visitors on an immersive journey to uncover our relationship with water. The exhibition’s design uses innovative and fully bio-regenerative materials provided by a collaboration between Zelfo Technology and Material Culture including building boards made of wetland reed fibres which are used to provide the background for many of the exhibits.
