Paludiculture Community Workshop 2025

Updated: Apr 29

The Canalside, Marsh Lane, Bridgwater, Somerset. TA6 6LQ

Without this turning into something akin to an award ceremony acceptance speech I would like to thank everyone involved in organising and running the community workshop in Bridgwater, in particular the host and compare Elizabeth and Colin for making sure all the presentations stuck to the schedule and battling with the inevitable IT issues. Thanks also to everyone who presented their project updates. In the year since Manchester, some big steps forward have been taken and with PEF+ I am looking forward to see how the projects and paludiculture community continues to develop over the coming year. Not forgetting thanks also to Nichola for running a 101-basket weaving session, many of us finished with a bent stick but some did manage to make a wand.

Whilst the first day was a celebration of the work done, the second day was focussed on the next steps and once the reviewing and summarising of the output has been completed, we shall let you know.

Before the orchestra starts to play and I am gently marched off the stage this is the link for the first day presentations.
