My name is Felix Brockley-Hatch, and I’m currently completing a Master of Arts and Sciences (MASC) at the London Interdisciplinary School. My research centres on peatland perceptions—how people understand, value, and emotionally connect with these unique and often overlooked landscapes.

As I begin developing my project, I am especially interested in how paludiculture can help us reshape human–landscape relationships. I want to investigate how paludiculture can serve as a narrative tool: a means to raise awareness, promote stewardship, and encourage citizen ecology by demonstrating that ecological restoration and economic activity can coexist.
To deepen this work, I’m hoping to speak with people active within the paludiculture and peatland community. Your insights and experiences could help inform the project, ensuring it builds on existing knowledge and the lived realities of those working within the field.
If you’re open to a 15-minute conversation, I would be genuinely grateful to hear from you. Please feel free to get in touch at fbrockleyh@gmail.com to arrange a time.
Thank you—and I look forward to learning from the community that continues to inspire this research.
