About the event

The Broads National Park is a unique landscape characterised by wet grasslands, high water tables, fen, reedbeds, and alder carrs, all of which offer potential for paludiculture. In this webinar, we will share our experiences in cultivating these diverse wetland ecosystems, including wet grassland, alder carr, reed, and typha, and explore their potential as sustainable crops in paludiculture systems. We will refer to experience of our paludicuture demonstration site at Horsey and our work with reed and sedge cutters.

Speakers: Andrea Kelly, Environment Policy Adviser and Andrew Walters, Paludiculture Officer, Broads Authority
