Lowland Agricultural Peat Workshop - York

Defra's Lowland Peat Team are holding a series of lowland agricultural peat focused workshops across England this Autumn.

Along  with our partners, we will update participants on the actions we have  taken to address the recommendations set out in the recent Lowland  Agricultural Peat Task Force Report, hear more about the new projects  exploring wetter farming methods and consider the next steps for future  engagement.

These workshops offer an exciting opportunity to  bring together key stakeholders from a range of industries and  backgrounds to discuss the concerns and opportunities around lowland  peat management at a regional level.

Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.
