Consortium building
Registration form
Introduction
Paludiculture.org.uk is funded by the Defra peat policy team as part of the current lowland peat community engagement project to support the planning and delivery of research into wetter farming on peat soils in England. Our goal is to bring together organisations with complementary expertise, from landowners and growers to research institutions, water companies, NGOs and businesses, etc., reflecting the multi-actor, problem-solving ethos encouraged by Defra, the Environment Agency and Natural England.
We have developed a database for you, as potential project collaborators, to share your contact details with others in order to come together to develop and shape project proposals, trial innovations, contribute data or expertise, or participate in knowledge-sharing across the wider wetter-farming sector. It may be particularly helpful for finding others local to you with whom to form consortia to apply for the Lowland Peat Water Discovery Grant, which is currently open for applications, and ahead of the launch of the Lowland Peat Water Implementation Grant and the Paludiculture and Wetter Farming Fund, both of which are due to launch this summer.
How Your Information Will Be Used
When you register, the details you provide will be stored in a secure collaborators’ database and used only for the purpose of forming working relationships and preparing proposals for the upcoming project call. This process follows Defra’s good‑practice frameworks for environmental planning and evidence‑driven programme design.
Please provide only a contact email address and organisation‑related information. Do not include phone numbers or any personal information. All data will be deleted at the end of the grant application process.
Please note: the consortium‑building database is openly accessible on the Paludiculture website. This is to help contributors find potential collaborators and connect with others working in this area. Your information will appear alongside other organisations that have chosen to participate, and it is displayed solely to support collaboration, networking, and the identification of shared interests. The page is publicly visible and does not require registration to view, ensuring transparency and ease of access. Although the information is available online, it is displayed only within this context, and there is no automated download function on the site.
