This year we will be celebrating Bog Day on Sunday 23rd July 2023.

Share your events, resources, videos, projects, blogs, and press releases from the brilliant world of bogs with us and we will host them on the Bog Day site.

Bog Day provides an excellent opportunity to band together to champion our fantastic fens, super swamps and marvellous marshes - here is some information to get you started:

The BogDay.org site is managed by the IUCN UK Peatland Programme and brings you content from partners and projects around the world working to conserve, restore and enhance our brilliant bogs every day of the year!

Currently on the Bog Day site you can find …

Peatland Top Trumps from the Moors for the Future Partnership

Peatland educational resources from LIFE Welsh Raised Bog Project & Natural Resources Wales

Wildlife spotter sheets for heathland, bogs and peatlands from the Wildlife Trusts

Bogcast episodes from the Yorkshire Peat Partnership

Resources for schools and communities from the Irish Peatland Conservation Council

And much, much more

Mark Bog Day – Celebrating the brilliance of bogs in your calendars and let us know what your organisation will be doing to celebrate the brilliant bogs where you are.

Contact info@iucn.org.uk for more information.

·      After your event if you have a news item about paludiculture, please send your pictures and information to paludiculture@niab.com so we can share your news and blogs.

·      Or post your event information directly on the paludiculture Forum.
